20 Weeks!

May 9th I was 20 weeks!

20 Week Ultrasound

This is the video from our 20 week ultrasound on May 7th. I am actually just shy of 20 weeks - 19 weeks and 5 days. During the ultrasound they looked at the vital organs, measured a bunch of stuff and then showed us the fun stuff. When you get to the part where there is a chart on the screen if you wait about 30 seconds the ultrasound will come back on and then you get to see the It's a Boy part!! Just before that the video starts jumping - that was Wendy pressing up and down on my belly trying to get Hunter to flip over so that he was facing my belly. We cut the end of the ultrasound off because Hunter decided to be stubborn and not flip over and continued facing my back. You get a good shot of his spine for about 5 minutes but that is all you are missing! Dr. Pohl said everything looked great and he also listened to the heartbeat and said it was perfect! Hunter weighs 12 ounces today which they said is right on track.

It's a Boy!

This is the announcement we sent out on May 7th after our 20 week appointment when we found out it's a boy!

Tummy Check #2

April 22nd - We went to the doctor today for tummy check #2. We were able to hear the heartbeat again and it was just as exciting as the first time. It was about 150 beats per minute which Dr. Pohl said was perfect and he also commented that it was getting louder which means the baby is getting bigger. We go back on May 7th for our 20 week ultrasound and to hopefully find out the sex of the baby. Look for an updated post then!!!

Biltmore April 18th - 20th

Brian surprised me for my birthday and took me to Biltmore House for the weekend to recuperate from tax season and celebrate! This was one of the few pictures we had together so I decided to post it for everyone to see. We had a wonderful weekend!

Lisa's 30th Birthday

Sunday, April 13th was my 30th birthday so we decided to take

Easter 2008

Since I am pregnant I decided we should take a picture on Easter that we could show the baby one day!

Tummy Check #1

March 20th - We went to the doctor today for our first "tummy check" as Dr. Pohl calls it. Although we had previously been able to see the baby's heartbeat on the ultrasounds we had not heard the heartbeat yet but we did today!! It was so amazing and fast. We didn't get to hear it for very long but Dr. Pohl heard what he needed to hear and said it sounded perfect. Both me and Brian were so excited to finally hear the baby!

Twelve Week Pics

These are pictures of me at twelve weeks on March 14th. Just a little belly starting to show but enough that I have to wear mostly maternity clothes because my regular pants are too tight!

Baby Aerobics

We went to the doctor on March 4th for our second visit and second ultrasound. Dr. Pohl told us if we brought a VHS tape that he would record the ultrasound so this is our amazing video (I guess we are biased). It was SO amazing to see the baby moving around so much. The actual video is about twice as long but the baby wasn't moving around at the beginning so Brian left that part out so that it wasn't so long for our viewers! We did get to see the heartbeat again and the umbilical cord pulsating at the beginning of the video. I just can't say enough about how amazing it was....the little arms and legs are my favorite - just to watch them move around was so wonderful :) Dr. Pohl said that everything still looked perfect!

We're Pregnant!

This is a copy of the e-mail announcement that we sent out to just about everyone we know on February 23rd. Brian has such a gigantic family that we couldn't possibly call everyone so this is what we did instead!

A look inside...

We had our first appointment with Dr. Pohl on February 19th. It was such an exciting appointment....we had our first ultrasound and were able to see the baby so we wanted to share the picture with everyone! Me and Brian were both so amazed! After the ultrasound Dr. Pohl was so patient and let us ask all of our silly questions. Overall, it was a great appointment and he said everything looked perfect! Praise be to God!

Ooooooooooooklahoma

We went to OKC for Thanksgiving '07. This is a pic of us at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum (where Margaret works). It was cold and WINDY!
